I'm playing Minbari in my current campaign. All my helpful friends are showing me creative ways to reduce that darn stealth. Emines work really well. They may not do a lot of damage, but if you fire them first, you can usually get a hit or two and make if easier for the rest of the fleet to...
Once a breaching pod has latched onto the hull of a ship, can it be fired on by emines? The 2e rules state,
"Once a breaching pod has survived any Anti-Fighter defences and is in base contact with the targeted ship it may not be shot at by any other weapons from either the target or another...
I'm sure this has been asked and answered, but a search didn't turn anything up. When the Abbai are firing Comm Disruptors at a stealthed ship, do they have to break stealth in order to fire?
If Comm Disruptors hit a stealthed ship, does it reduce stealth by 1 like every other weapon?
Thanks...
That's a great point about being scenario dependent. If we do adopt this house rule it would only be for Call to Arms, Annihilation, and Space Superiority most likely.
I have always played that whoever wins the initiative chooses whether to setup their fleet first or second. Then whoever is going first puts all their ships out and then the second player puts all their ships out.
I recently started playing with a new group and they alternate placement of...
In a campaign game, if you send a ship back to headquarters to be repaired, are any fighters it normally carries replaced?
For instance, I sent a white star back that was badly damaged and had lost it's Nial flight. When it returns two turns later, does it have a nial flight or do I have to buy...
Thanks Burger! The Victory did VERY well in the battle against the Centauri. One of the White Star Carriers, Ajax, did not do so well when it got within 12 inches of an Octurian.
Next questions:
What happens if a ship withdraws on a side that is not it's Tactical Withdrawal area? Is the ship...
Well, our campaign is now in it's sixth turn and has been great fun. Turn 6 should be especially interesting (and painful) with 4 war level fights and 1 battle level. Take a look at the way things are shaping up if you get a chance.

There are a few rules that I...
What the heck does the afterburner on the victory do? How is it different than all power to engines? I seem to remember reading somewhere that you get to make one turn with afterburner.
Good stuff. Now all I have to do is explain all this to the group and get everyone to agree. Oh, and I should probably paint and mount my ISA fleet at some point. :o
The big problem with allowing more than one fight per turn, per objective is that it would mean the rest of the campaign turn is on hold while each battle is fought. We want to get to the point where we can figure out every battle size and type for the whole turn via email then people can get...
Very helpful info! We are just starting turn 3 and we were doing it wrong. I was totally missing the way selected targets are contested. We'll have vote on whether or not to allow skipping. The skipping makes more sense now that I understand contesting.
So how do things change after all the...
Can someone give me a quick breakdown of how campaign turn initiative works? I think my group may be doing it wrong. Currently we all roll and add our racial modifiers. Then the highest total goes first. In the rules it says you may choose to skip, but I’m not really sure what that means. Does...
