In this chapter there is a reference to Starhunter being detected depending on the level of alert in the system. Medium and High Alert are mentioned but there is no mention of the effect these different states have on detection or interception. Have I missed it?

Coming very late to this, but the thing I don't understand is that Expert programs can only work for INT and EDU based skills. gun combat uses dex. I don't really understand how an expert programmed gun helps at all.
