I'd have zero interest in any sort of d20 based Conan; however, if a Legend based Conan game were released, as doubtful as the prospects of that might be, I'd buy it in a minute.

Much, much better. It does look to me that some art might be missing. Page 5 in particular has a large odd sized chunk of whitespace in the middle where a warrior was in the earlier edition.

I expect they just wanted to get the thing out after so many trials and tribulations and put out a shoddy, half finished book knowing that it was highly anticipated and that many would buy it immediately. Unfortunately I was one of these. It is, indeed, a mess.

Any blacksmith could make simple tools and implements out of bog iron, but then any blacksmith can make a sword too, it just won't be a good one. A good blacksmith can work the impurities out of the bog iron.

Where did you see any indication that it is into layout. Last word was they don't have it in their hands yet and haven't heard from their proofreader.
