It's my favorite sourcebook, actually. Too bad it is out of print - Hopefully Mongoose will reprint/update it.

I hadn't heard this earlier title before. I agree though, "Sands of Death" sounds cooler than "Serpent of the South".

Looking forward to the book. Cities and Ruins are very good, so I have high expectations for this one!

I loved that old Marvel Super Heroes RPG! I remember there was a website where you could see all the old books, but i can't seem to find the site right now...

I haven't received my copy yet, but I'm looking forward to the book. It's always nice to have a couple of quick, ready to go adventures easily accessable.

Beyond the Black River is my favorite. Honorable mentions : Red Nails, Hour of the Dragon, Black Stranger

I've got to agree - Across Thunder River is probably my favorite book in the entire line. If you don't have it - get it immediately! (if you plan on ever using Picts in your campaign)

I hope the Red Nails movie is eventually released - it looked cool.

I think it would definately fit with Pictish or Black Kingdom Shamans. There would have to be some kind of ritualistic sacrifice of the animal involved and the effect would only last until sunrise. I also like the idea of the possibility of not fully "coming back" entirely human.
