I know this is off topic, but I have often wondered how long until the cost to fly pushes people back to trains and buses? :( Unlike out fictional world of space travel we do have alternatives.

The company I work for has some roles like that. They do not automatically get the holidays but they have a higher number of personal PTO days. This allows them to have as many days off, just not always July 4 or Presidents Day Weekend etcetera.

That is so funny. I have never run into that, but then I have always kept the giveaway signals low so they know better. I feel for you having to deal with that. :)
