I'm pretty sure it allows the caster to travel instantly. I'm not sure if the magnitude skill covers distance or the Size of the target.
How about a group effort. as Individuals we may not have the time/inclination to tackle such a project. collectively it would be much easier. I've been a little busy with school stuff and absent from the forums.
How about we put together a outline / content of the book?
I've puzzling around with this a little myself. Some spells I'm thinking shouldn't be advanced skills for instance, the zero magnitude and some of the 1 magnitude spells come to mind.
I like the Corruption rules as they stand in the Lankhmar book, altough adding some of the Conan options for Variaty would be nice. I personaly like having the Spells cast mirror the corruption. so a Wizard who summons rats will take on a ratty appearance, a necromancer will develope sunken...
The book was a bit larger than I expected. I was thinking it would be simular in size to the companion, when in fact it's larger than the core book. :shock:
The magical Backgrounds and Professions are pretty neat. I'll defiantly be using these. There is an absolute truckload of spells in...

I also would have prefered a little more than a few pages of Demons. I'm rather curious to what the rest of the Bright Empires Sorcery looks like.
It's got some interesting bits in it, ideas and rules I will be borrowing for a Conan style RQ. Overall the setting didn't do all that much for me, a times it was a little confusing. I almost feel like I'm not getting the Slaine big picture because I'm unfamilar with the Comics. :?
