Far from my thoughts to be annoying with this but... This discussion still hasn't answered sgstyrsky's question.

Seems to me, as a newbie to Conan RPG, that this is a weakness of these rules. I spent two hours looking around the book to make sense of how many spells a lvl 1 scholar got. The whole thing isn't clear at all, especially if you aren't familiar with the d20 system... ...and the basic spell...
