(In my experience, a) favicon support varies so much between browsers that it's a curiosity, nothing more and b) my browser shows favicons so small you need a microscope to see them anyway.)

...more work for whom? I wouldn't ever use some kind of Imperial Citizen Number at my table, for the simple reason that it brings nothing to the, uh, table. Really, what problem is trying to be solved here?
Book 2 of the new version of The Great Rift. There's only one core rulebook; it's the one that says Core Rulebook on the title page. (Also the cover and the spine, but those are not what determines the title of a book under normal circumstances.)
Just in case anyone has the new version and is scratching their heads over why that isn't in their box, it's now the first section of Book 2. In the old version it was bound by itself.
