    Lone Wolf 17... Is In!

Well, mine showed up today. The postal stamp indicated that it was mailed from Ohio on March 26, so it took nearly two weeks to get here (8 working days). Case closed as far as I'm concerned.

So, end of March. Any news why some of us are still waiting for a copy of LW 17?

The Lone Wolf Mega-Deals are Back!

Back when the original megadeals were offered, the canadian dollar was a lot weaker than it currently is, the $US was strong and so was the £. I probably ended up paying over $100 more than I would have if I'd gotten it later.

    Lone Wolf 17... Is In!

Still waiting for mine here in Canada, and I'm an original Megadeal subscriber as well. I'm not worried though, they always show up sooner or later.

    Shadow on the sand

When I was a kid I always surrendered, until I found out all the fun of running around the city! The book is almost 25 % shorter if you do surrender though.

Caverns of Kalte CE missing section

< Same here, but I'll wait and see, it's not like we can't enjoy the missing-section-book in the meantime. The new adventure with Loi-Kimar is a lot better than the one with Rhygar in book 2, IMO. For starters, there are instant death sections, better continuity and more sections.

USA Residents: Anybody actually received Book 3 yet?

Canada here also, and I have had book 3 for over a week now (missing section 192). I ordered the Megadeal at the end of July, received book 1 a couple of weeks later and book 2 sometime in October.

    MAGNAMUND'S TROPICAL & TEMPERATE ZONES...

I'd say starting with the eastern parts of the Tentarias and working you way westwards.

    Geographical errors...

This is also my take on it, the city may have changed hands a few times in its history. Although according to your quotes, it doesn't say explicitly that Karkaste belongs to Magador, although its loyalty may be constantly shifting between Lyris and Magador. I also think Kron, Luyen, Rhem...

    Wow lonewolf RPG

To answer your first question, the LW RPG came out around May/June 2004, followed in July/August by The Darklands sourcebook and in November by the Magic of Magnamund class book. Last August (2005), Mongoose also released an adventure for beginning levels, called Dawn of Destruction. A few...

    Combat example...giaks

That's the thing really. Giaks are not goblins at all, they're a race bred specifically by the Darklords for war. Sure, they're a bit cowardly, but they're still great front-line troops, when well-led. The 18 Strength is an accurate reflection of all the previous descriptions of the race...
