    on average there is no real difference to 2 CAs compared to 4CAs in the standard rules. if you calculate quickness in a way that it always ranges from 50%-90% it is even less harsh then 2CA <> 4CA. The main difference is that the die roll makes it somewhat unpredictable.

    ähm.. no comment to my suggestion means... you think it will not work? i think with the proposed suggestion you would combine variabel CA and less bookkeeping as well as simulating heavy armor quite well and simple..
