Is it just me, or in the 1st edition it was assumed a ships sensors where good enough to find the range on an enemy?
The new rules state a "declare target and then measure" version. Similar to the 40K universe. Haven't tried the new rules yet and don't know if I'll care later, just thought...
Thanks for the help. I knew when other ships jumped out they couldn't come back. The agument was shadow spacific.
I believe that the vorlons are a lot better off with that thrown out.
Ok this came up in a recent campaign. I was vorlon 1 of the other guys was shadow.
How does hyperspace mastery work?
The shadow guy would use his faster speed and SM to hide one ship in the corner of the board where I couldn't shoot.
The rest of his fleet use hyperspace mastery to jump...
When E-mines say they "hit all ships in range". . . does that mean imediately proceded to damage rolls for all ships, or do you need to roll for a hit first? IE E-Mines should read "target all ships at a range of . . ."
I ask because in a recent game someone argued it was similar to a ship...
The big concern that I would have over a point system is that it is too easy to break. You could find a very low level ship with a single long range beam and buy fifty of them for the price of say 1 primus. Then when rolling 50 dice you can saturate your opponent with hits.
I have seen it...
How do you compile it to a *.mod file? I love the tabletop version and would like to get this to work to play some friends cross-country. However I am new to Vassell.
