I'm not entirely sure what you mean here...
In the main part the book is a scenario and sourcebook for the picts. There are some details for Pict Shamen but that is all the magical content that I remember seeing in it without going back to check.

And yes, I did see them at GenCon UK 2-3 weeks ago, admittedly I didn't look for them on anyone other than Mongoose's stand, so they could have just brought them along as a special.

Well noone has said that Across the Thunder River won't have an adventure included as yet, just that its primarily a sourcebook. Its got quite a nice page count to it though, so its possible it could be both.
Noone said everyone wanted that. I just pointed out that the kind of questions already asked in this thread inferred that was the kind of thing the previous posters were looking for and tried to answer their question.

The borderer content looks to be mainly lifestyle descriptions and their interractions with the Picts. I think the kind of thing people were looking for here were prestige classes, perhaps feats and the like...Will have to wait for the borderer book for that.
Have to say that I disagree. The bonus to d20 products isn't that it makes them sell better. Having helped run a gaming group for several years for 30+ gamers and having worked in a gaming shop since before d20 up until recently, I found d20 to be a bonus.
