    Last Call for Drinax

"August" now, on the release schedule. Disappointing.

    MgT 2e Missile Damage

I see Traveller_Core_Ebook.pdf, but when I download from that I get the erratajun2016 file. I may try downloading the B&W anyhow as I do use tablets somewhat.

    MgT 2e Missile Damage

That's the only one I can download from Drivethru, bar the B&W printer-friendly version...

[GK Games] A Fifth of 21 Plots

How transferrable are these plots to the Traveller OTU or homebrew settings?

    RPG Suite

I've just given this a try, it's kinda cool but a bit buggy in places. It doesn't seem to count ship shares (Just leaves it at 0 regardless of how many you get), It counts losing SOC during an event as an injury that can be healed, and it doesn't quite display skills in the 2e "specialisation"...

    Ship Design Philosophy

I would suggest that "can go really fast" and "can go really fast while not experiencing enough Gs to squash meatbags into jam" are separate technological achievements.

    Poly Carapace

Came searching for this thread rather than start one, but it's gone unanswered... I ended up finding the answer in CSC1e, though, and thought I'd leave it here for the next searcher. The higher TL versions are only "lightweight" in that they can provide more armour for the same weight, and...

    Modding (or managing) Combat

I guess I'm thinking more of the variance of it. Knowing that a hard fight is a hard fight, but that they probably won't be hurt beyond what can be healed fully, and that easier fights are unlikely to result in more than mild or occasionally serious injury... but preferably without having them...

    Modding (or managing) Combat

My players are used to more "heroic" games (D&D, Mythras/Runequest, and others), and I'm concerned that the super-deadly combat in Traveller might be offputting - both on the ground and in space. Avoiding combat because combat is deadly is all very well, but heroic combat is also good fun, and...

    Strend

Bit of a thread-hijack, but can you provide any guidance on how bad an idea it is to start a Pirates of Drinax campaign using the existing MgT1 stuff with a view to transferring to the new rules when they're out? I'm just wondering if there's going to be a big gotcha there, such as a big change...

    Generating / creating memorable NPCs.

I'm going to start running Secrets of the Ancients soon (doesn't look like I'll need to do much converting to 2e), so I've started reading through it and the most stand-out feature I noticed is the "how to play" notes for a few significant NPCs. For instance, for Pallod Norrim: This is...

The Type-Y kind of Yachts we should be seeing

Speaking of which, Passengers is worth watching if you haven't already. That's my idea of an "infinity pool".

    Community created tools for MgT2

He replied pretty quickly and affirmatively when I emailed him about my High Guard spreadsheet, but given that RPGSuite.com might be competing against a character spreadsheet (and that they shell out for advertising in MgT2 books), I think you're right not to just assume!
