What about the nearby minor powers, such as the Darrians? With their advanced technology, not to mention their animosity towards the Zhodani, they could make a play to neutralise threats to the Confederation. Plus the Darrians have one ace; nobody is gonna preemptively attack them, out of fear...

Don't forget to take into account the deities sphere of influence. Some gods would naturally be more powerful than others, simply because the thing they control/represent is incredibly important. E.g.; The Earth Goddess would be more powerful than the War God, simply because she is in command...

Well, hopefully there is now some production room for Legend, but can we please have an update on at least what is in the pipeline, so we can look forward to something. Is there any chance of this happening?

Warlock, in answer to your question: The majority of my players are inexperienced, or brand-new. As for setting, I was thinking of a combination of High Fantasy and Dark Fantasy. I wanted something with Elves, Dwarves, and Magic, but at the same time, to have a sense of dark, gritty realism...

Thanks for the great advice, but I'm still struggling with regards to Magic. I don't know how to design Deities, Grimoires, or very much else like that. I've tried on my own, and everything I think of seems way too overpowered. Any ideas or suggestions?

I can understand the need for Mongoose to focus on their Traveller and Paranoia re-releases, however Legend needs to have a little bit of activity. Even the aforementioned short PDF releases would be nice. I don't think that Mongoose has lost interest, it's just swamped under a heavy workload...

One thing that would be useful is a list of products in production for Legend. Even if the release dates are TBC, it would give us some reassurance that there is some movement for the product line. I can understand Mongoose's position regarding the new release of Traveller, but some info...
