Well, this forum is going to close next week, so I guess it is time for some of us to say goodbye to Mongoose Publishing. Not that I'm mad about what is happening with the LW line: I'm disappointed, but I have the feeling that it is not Mongoose's decision to end the production of the LW brand...

So, Mongoose drops the LW line. Will we ever see the ending of the series? From what I understand, the German publisher (Mantikore-Verlag) has been told to continue publishing the series, with their own bonus adventures and more editorial freedom. That was announced Monday, nearly four days...

True! I can't find any LW stuff on the website! :shock: But since this forum is still open and that there was no new announcement, I guess it will reappear shortly... Well, I hope so! :?

Well, Mongoose is not exactly responsible for the video game being delayed, although Joe confirmed that it will... I mean, THEY will come out soon. Recently in Germany, he confirmed that a few games will come out for iPads.

Also, you have to consider that the 4 novels remaining in total (2 in both Trilogies) are not planned whatsoever. Both series seemed to be canned by Mongoose.

My question is: Will the book be delayed now that Pascal Quidault has announced that he will not work for Mongoose anymore? He did some work for book 18 but I seem to understand that it will not be used. Who's going to replace him? (Okay, that was two questions)

You just need to check the release schedule: it's for August.

Yes, yes you're right. If Joe ever wants the fans to know about it, he'll make an announcement himself (like he did for his kidney cancer back in 2005). I wish him good luck, whatever the problem is. :)

In book 16 bonus adventure, in the rules section, it is said that someone who have played the previous adventure of the Dire can carry over his stats, adding 5 to his Endurance score. For those that have not played the previous adventure, they must pick a number on the Random Number Table and...

From what I know, this is an updated version of another updated version (read: a 3rd version). The first version was the one published in the 80-90s, the second is an updated version that was published by an Italian publisher (only for the Italian market) during the 2000s and this new 2011...
