Yep, just what I was about to add. Beat me to the punch.

Conan 2nd Ed - Noble - Lead by Example

I looked at the old Atlantean ed for clarification, but it has the same problem... conflict between the class table and the feature description.

    No magic Scholar?

Temptress (from the 2nd Ed rules) only has magic if you choose to take the path of sorcery in the Secret Art section. You have options for politics or thief-like abilities as alternate paths w/o any magic. But, while Temptresses can be packed full of skills, if your char is not into the...

Conan 2nd Ed - Noble - Lead by Example

I tried searching the forums and didn't see this anywhere. Question: In my copy (had one of the first runs), the Noble section has conflicting data pertaining to the Lead by Example class feature. On the character table, it states that Lead by Example is: +2 @ 5th lvl +4 @ 10th lvl +6 @ 15th...

Free Adventure - conan and the shadow of Thantos

ricardo440: Thanks for sharing your work, man! I've just d/l and began perusing it. Have not had a chance to try and run it yet, but will provide feedback when I do. Nice format and pretty extensive. Will write more when I get a chance to look at it in more depth... have to run.

Conan 2nd Edition - quality issues

Talk to msprange about it. He'll replace it with one of the new ones from the current binding process. You probably picked up one of the first run batch. Mine had had binding issues too, but msprange replaced it for free with the latest run. No binding issues.

Conan 2nd Edition - quality issues

Eh, yes they are. Once you start bringing in color process, you are dealing with more expensive ink due to the pigments. The cost difference can be quite a bit depending upon how many colors and such. Add in 420 or so pages worth per item and I'd expect quite a price hike in the printing job.

    Conan 1E supplements in 2E

Well, _some_ of the material/rules are superceded by the version in the 2Ed rulebook, but otherwise, yes, they are all quite usable with little or no modification.

    Yep. My thoughts exactly.

Conan 2nd Edition - quality issues

Indeed! I had an issue with my initial copy of the 2E rulebook... the binding was coming loose in sections. msprange offered to replace my copy, and the new copy just arrived in the mail. The binding issue is resolved. It's much more solid and more what I've come to expect. Thanks again...

    Temptresses?

Nowadays, the Temptress class is a full-blown core class in the 2nd Ed Rulebook. There are some changes to the core class versus what's in the Fallen book. Notably, at each level where you would have received a sneak attack in the original version of the class, you now have a choice at that...

Time to bitch about the non-colour 2nd edition

Wow. Thanks! Edit: FYI I've been told the binding process has improved since the first run on the 2nd Ed texts. I should soon see firsthand. :)

Time to bitch about the non-colour 2nd edition

I'm not so opposed to the B&W artwork. The binding, however, is a legitimate gripe IMO. My brand new HC 2nd edition is already failing and sections fallling out of the spine. I'm thinking of trying to rebind it myself.

    NEW GM SCreen

I second that ;) Also, perhaps a summary of pertinent sorcery rules quick reference?

Sweet. That's clears up what I was looking for. Thanks. ;)
