    What's the appeal of Earthdawn?

If you're not interested in the rules and indeed more into actual locations (from countries to cities), and not things like descriptions of unique horrors or items or races, I recommend, in that order: - GM Guide (general description of Barsaive) - Nations 1: Throal (the most important state) -...

Earthdawn quick start rules and/or char sheet

Not quite the right download category on our site, you'll want "free stuff" not "previews": http://www.redbrick-limited.com/cms/index.php?categoryid=12&p13_sectionid=4 There, you'll want either "ED3 Extended Character Sheet" or "ED3 Simple Character Sheet" also there is a free intro called...

    What's the appeal of Earthdawn?

One important distinction is that there is no "implied" setting (at least not as we have come to know the term since D&D4e). On the contrary, the setting is very explicit. The rules are tied heavily into the setting, and you'd have a hard time separating the two.

    Earthdawn gamemasters companion question

I don't know. Do Invae feel pain? If not, most Horrors would probably leave them alone. (There's nowhere where it says whether they feel pain or not, though...)

    Earthdawn gamemasters companion question

The Gamemaster's Companion has more powerful creatures suited as opponents for higher-Circle adepts, the bulk of it will be about Great Dragons and Named Horrors, though. Also, adept NPCs of different Circles (IIRC 6 different Circles for each of the 15 Disciplines) that you can use as...

Earthdawn 3rd ed. question to the designers

Not all talents, only all Discipline Talents. Example: To advance to Second Circle, an Air Sailor has to have the following talents at Rank 2: Air Sailing, Avoid Blow, Climbing, Karma Ritual, Melee Weapons He does not have the talent he learned from the Talent Options list (say, Parry) at rank...

    Earthdawn Ch Sheet

Yep, the download was fixed after a day or so (if everything went without any problems on the first day, or week even, of a completely new website, I guess it would be bad news for anyone working in IT  ) We also added an extended character sheet (6 pages instead of two, with more...

Tell me about WESTERN CITY please

Hi, similar, yes, although it also features other elements you would find in other indie-style games, and also some found in traditional style games. Western City is heavily built around a bidding mechanic (using poker chips, or something similar if you don't have any) to decide who has the...
