I heard that the second half of the hoffman adventure was released, but for the life of me can't find it. If I have not been lied too, can someone please point a fellow in the right direction?

I've been playing a game of dus vult, and just noticed the balll and chain (the special one that can be loaded with nasty gasses) If you use CM entangle and get the head chest or stomach, that is minues 20%, you can then make a trip attempt, leaving them at another 20%, and they can't attack...

I like the minus 20 off balance thing...could lead to some wierdness though (like if you aren't that good with mace and dagger, and when using just the dagger, you are end up with a worse ability than just a basic dagger skill you start off with, easily resolved with a capping at off hand can't...

And another awkward question. Say you had mace and dagger at 90...so that means using a dagger alone you have dagger as 90... Now say you want to try a ball and chain out, so you go for ball and chain and dagger. Ball and chain starts at basic skill BUT do any attacks with your dagger still get...

So never lead with a choose location sounds like a good idea (unless their armour really sucks in one location) better off doing a better manouvre for an advantage, and continuing to hit the spot that you randomnly hit afterwards

Yeah, choose location can be outshon at times. I was recently trying to fight this rather powerful monster, which didn't bother parrying most attacks as it had so much health it didn't need to. It did 1d6 + 1d20 damage and could impale, and had 4 combat manouvres. I was burning hero points to...

So does that mean we will have to wait till 2012 to see the next half of that deus vult hoffman quest? Cos our GM is running through the first bit and I would be sorely dissapointed if we had to stop due to the second half of it not coming through.

Just found out about the news...well, they may bring out some new Deus Vult books out for Wayfarer!

Aside from runequest 2 core rule book, and the deus vult book, you wouldn't need anything else. Hopefully come summer we may need some other add on books made by the lovely mongoose chaps to expand on our Deus Vult goodness.
