    Dorostar Conversion

I think Uz are more traditionally found in the Yolp Mountains (which aren't all that far from Dorastor). Essentially nobody is living in Dorastor, thanks to Arakt.

    Dorastar

Sure, but I hope Mongoose is. Which means they can't just reprint it, and they can't just search/replace, because the God Learners don't really have a boundary with Dorastor.

    Glorantha campaign check

Pavis might be another. And Ralios I'm about to start a Second Age game in Anadikki, because it borders two empires: Carmania and EWF.

    Dorastar

Well, the land of Dorastor was there in the Second Age, but I don't think it's quite the same as in the 3rd Age. For example, the Telmori have only been there for about 50 years. The entire Riskland campaign is inappropriate for the Second Age IMO, in part because it's driven by the Lunars.

    I be confused.... HELP!

And Glorantha is a setting for an award-winning computer game... Which two are you asking about being different? Glorantha is a fantasy world. HeroQuest and RuneQuest are fantasy games. HeroQuest takes a more narrative approach to gaming, and scales fairly well to extremely powerful entities...

    Empire of Wyrms' Friends- culture

The God Learners certainly have a more far-flung empire. They probably control more people too (though Dara Happa is very populous). They really don't go head to head much in the official history, so it's hard to tell which is more powerful. Full dragons are pretty awesome! And the EWF is...

    Empire of Wyrms' Friends- culture

The Eternal Dragon Ring was established 80 years ago! Obduran the Flyer was elected to the ring 100 years before that. How long does it take to get on its feet?

    Villians in your runequest games

Actually, there were some troll/Sun alliances in the Second Age: “priest found common bond with any priest, and even accepted the help of the dark powers of the north. Winter chills, troll raids, and hungry monsters stalked Peloria as her natives rebelled.” [Glorantha Book p.23]

    Villians in your runequest games

Main problem with Chaos is that few people are willing to negotiate with it. This can limit your plots. One patch might be to introduce a layer between your protagonists and the villain. Perhaps there's a community that agrees to provide an annual (live) human sacrifice to the scorpionman...

    typos, mistakes, inconsistencies, etc...

My pet peeve is the misspelling of Anadikki (since I'll be running a game set there). Of course, it's spelled wrong in some of the earlier sources too...

    The Ultimate Runequest World !!!!

IMO Griffin Mountain was far superior, but Griffin Island wasn't bad, and had better handouts. (I actually ran with the latter for a while, but found the former an invaluable resource when running RQ2.) Note that Moon Design has reprinted Griffin Mountain. There are now some way cool illos of...

    Bilini - place of intrigue

I'm not entirely sure if Heortling History is its title, but it's the unfinished work coming out from Moon Design. Oh, here we go. Rick Meints on 24 Apr 2007: Or see http://www.tentacles-convention.de/releases.html#MoonDesign

    Bilini - place of intrigue

Bilini is usually considered part of Talastar -- the fiercest tribe (of the seven) in the Third Age. The Osteri clan held Ironsword for centuries (IIRC they took it from Lakrene). The Hold is their capital. Since it's part of Talastar, it has been part of the EWF for something like 50 years (by...
