It would require modifications but not too many. Mostly outlining the wave motion gun's rules/stats among other things. I may try and work on my own version.
Hello Everyone,
I finished detailing all the vehicles from the Hammer's Slammers Crucible minitaures rules for the RPG. Email me and I'll email you a copy. Let me know what you think.
I think the d20 Conan is incredible and I am running a campaign right now but the d20 rules sometimes leave a lot to be desired. MRQ would make things far more realistic (ie. no levels).
Green Ronin had an Ancient Rome D&D Setting for 3.5. I think the Mongoose team would do an excellant job with this and maybe an Ancient Greece setting.
I have started messing around with writing up some modifications for Renegade Legion using your Traveller rules. I have to say the Trveller rules are, in my opinion, a gold standard for gaming. Mongoose did a great job!
I agree that first edition Deadlands was cumbersome. Savage Worlds clears up much of the problems and is generic. I still think that Space 1889 using Traveller would be much better. Traveller Wild West could be interesting...
I have used Savage Worlds for several different genres and it isn't too bad. Simple, easy to use and simple for new players to learn. It doesn't get in the way of the role-playing.
This is also why I love the Traveller system by Mongoose. The rules don't hamper play.
I have begun writing some house rules for Renegade Legion/Traveller. The Traveller rules are so flexible that I can see them used for just about anything. I've had to modify the weight of things slightly to fit with the design rules in High Guard and rework the weapon lists but I think it will...
I still have Renegade Legion in all of its forms (Leviathan, Centurion, Interceptor, and Lgeionnaire) by the now-defunct FASA. I think the new Traveller would be perfect rules for the Renegade Legion Universe.
