It doesn't help the fliers were never released, and many models had major casting problems that could have been sorted out.

For better or worse, most people are familiar with the movies, and not the TV show. If they had made the movie models a priority, and pushed them up front, it could have worked.

In the end, I think it was too ambitious. GW has worked for years
to get to the point where they can afford to put a plastic Valkyrie into production, and MP was telling us they were going to do the same thing, in such a short period of time? I never really believed it.
