Re: Rogue Trooper Kickstarter Date Set
You just click on the amount you want to pledge. You need an account with either Amazon or Kickstarter. You pay through Kickstarter so need a card. They don't take paypal.
You only pay at the end and can change your pledge amount throughout the process. If the project isn't funded they won't charge you.

So am I. I really want to see what you do with the Sun Legions and Scum Marines. Also Will Kashan and Kashar troops be seperate to normal Nort Squads in rules and miniatures?
Please do Fort Neuro troops as squads or Souther Squads going to look very boring

Re: Rogue Trooper Kickstarter Date Set
Noticed you said on LAF that you wanted to do this in 15mm originally, but were 'pursuaded' to 28mm
. Any chance of 15mm as Stretch goals
- i know that i would invest on the off chance of this.
One can only live in hope (and i could use the 28mm Black Mare as a true scale model
)

Kinda disappointed of the difference between the Kapitan and Major Levels - you might as well just pledge two Kapitans and get three extra Rogues!

I imagine that this will change with stretch goals - it was the same with the JD one - it started off that you'd get more walters by going for multiple lower level pledges, but the freebies with stretch goals swung the benefit to the higher levels.Doctor-Warlock wrote:Kinda disappointed of the difference between the Kapitan and Major Levels - you might as well just pledge two Kapitans and get three extra Rogues!

Stretch Goals
You have set some levels to unlock different squads, but there doesn't seem to be any rewards for the different levels pledged?
Kaptain level could we get 1 random miniature.
Major 3 from each goal.
Im also thinking that 10 sets at Major isnt enough for me.
Could there be extras so a bolt on for £20 gets you another set from this list?

Im looking forward to 2 o'clock
There is no accounting for taste I suppose.
I would much rather that my Southers looked "boring" than ridiculous.
The Fort Neuro stories are awful, close to unreadable IMO. The Souther factions in that are pretty much the very last thing that I want from a Rogue Trooper range to be honest: too wacky by far. If people want them then fair enough, but I would much rather Hoppas, Sun Legion, Stammels, Bland & Brass (all of which are pretty oddball in their own right) etc before we get into loopy soldiers with silly voices in fancy dress. It seems likely to me that less goofy units will draw in more pledgers from the sidelines too.
No offence intended to anyone who want those units of course, but I for one will be glad to avoid Fort Neuro related figures.
Four hours to go!

Just three hours to go...
You can certainly ad pledge levels together to grab more goodies (we are expecting this as the number of units increases through stretch goals). So, if you want 15 sets, say, pledge for Major but put £300 for both Major and Kapitan.
And yes, things will be tweaked as the Kickstarter goes on. For example, Majors will get Venus Bluegenes for free once she is unlocked (with the Skorpion!).

A few things I'd like to see...
More GI's - I want to play the quartz zone massacre
GI drop pods - see above
Rules for taking GI personality chips in equipment - additional abilities
Lots and lots of norts with variations - I use pig iron heavy infantry as southern but never found good nort proxies.
http://brandlin.blogspot.co.uk/2008/11/ ... mment-form
More tanks - including the nightmare - I currently use daemonscape gzg201/a Leviathan tanks.
As to the current set up of the kick starter. Tthe scorpion looks ok (ish) but it's £40 equivalent at major/kapitan pledge level, and £50 below that level. That's a lot!

That doesn't bode well for the pricing of any of the MBTs
