Luriani was a very pleasant surprise.
Nicely put together and it's perfectly fitted into a gap in my alternative government codes for the Spinward Marches. As of now, government code C means Luriani IMTU.
Any chance of a Geonee module?

Nods, very much so (want a longship, they look cool and can imagine all sorts of fun with a group in the little ketch)And like the fighter, that is going to feature in my games, just have to figure how.
That's good to know. Not always do I interact with the other off the piece I am doing work for.
If I get some free time, I will do a model of the longship.

Thank you. I am planning on trying for another, but don't want to do another MHR next. Though maybe something from the deneb or the marches.steelbrok wrote:Luriani was a very pleasant surprise.

I do love the longship. Think it would look good with a racing stripemiddenface wrote:andrewv wrote:

Excellent work done here (save the art as whomever was assigned the art except for the cover did not read the text) - I will be doing a full review over at Drivethroughrpg later on (when I finish the whole thing) but I was impressed with attention to detail and believability of it all...adds a lot to canon. Then I will do a full review over at RPG.net once the deadtree materializes (btw, any ETA on the deadtree?)
As long as there are stars in the sky and dreams about the universe, as long as there are chronicles of high adventure to recount, there will always be Traveller.

The Minor Alien Modules are not intended for print (though we may compile several at a later date).
Re: Minor Alien Module 1: Luriani
Nice and a sensible way forward for material that is fine printed from a PDF or done as a POD.
This is what we need to see more of.

Re: Minor Alien Module 1: Luriani
We'll need a few more minor aliens done first
However, this is very much the sort of Traveller material we are working on/looking for, smaller items of interest that work well as PDFs, alongside the big heavyweight stuff like the larger Alien Modules and sector books. Expands Traveller nicely, I think.
Incidentally, printed copies of Luriani _will_ be possible. It is being included in our Great PDF Roundup that, among other things, prepares our entire PDF catalogue for POD print via Drivethru. So keep an eye out for that!

Is it already possible to order the first Minor Alien Module via POD on Drivethru?msprange wrote: Incidentally, printed copies of Luriani _will_ be possible. Not just yet, as there is always a lag between the PDF going up and print copies being available. However, we are currently going through the Great PDF Cleanup which, once complete, will make this process a bit quicker and easier all round. I would expect to see this available for print at Drivethru perhaps a little after Christmas, maybe a bit sooner.Alexander1968 wrote:

Re: Minor Alien Module 1: Luriani
Just bought this yesterday and have been reading through it.
VERY WELL DONE.
I really like how the author didn't make them a single culture type as is so common when trying to describe an alien race. I also really like the genetic information - Great background that inspires several plot ideas.
The Luriani have found a home in my Non-OTU setting!
