Finished three more Klingon Ships. The C8 dreadnoughts are now complete and all that remains is the C7s and the last two FD7s.
Here are the C8s:

To quote a certain god and her companion... "That's a lot of ship." "That's a bloody awful lot of ships!"

Two Fleet boxes...
Four Squadron boxes...
several internet trades...
a couple of ebay aquisitions...
and some single purchases from ADB to round out the set.

Nice looking fleet! I just need a couple more D5W's to wrap up my Klingons. Although my paint jobs aren't going to look as nice as what's been posted by others. The artist gene was omitted.

oh dear...... That is something I never want to see on the table opposite me.... I need to sort through my old fantasy and 40k stuff to find some ship funds I think....
A force for any system that well painted is always nice, but when you get a starfleet (Battleflletgothic or Starfleet) it is something else entirely... wish my federation fleet could look half as good as what you have, that is an impressive fleet you have there, though the idea of the cost of even half of it is terrifying.

The funny thing is:
I'm now working on a few more Klingon ships.
I'm doing an additional D7, two D6s, 3 F5s, and an E4 as the Red Dagger squadron from CL #46.
And there are still three more D6s awaiting completion of their conversions to a D6S, a D6M, and a D6G... just for the heck of it.

I took a break from Klingons Sunday and began assembling my Federation fleet. After cleaning up and putting together about 2 dozen ships - I took a break. I think I'll base coat them tonight nad then return to Klingons.
Then once those are finished, I'll finish assembling the Federation ships.

I seem to recall you were working on a D6M as a kit bashing project over on the ADB forum. Thought you had probabaly finished that up. Although there weren't any completed photos.

The D6M got put on hold.
I had a brainstorm on how to make really cool battery packs - but then had difficulties obtaining the material.
Who would have thunk that minis could be built out of unobtainium???

Parts and pieces acquired.
I'm painting a Red Dagger squadron right now.
After that... Its D6M time

After that, I'm going to do a step-bystep, phto-documented kitbash of some FJD type Federation destroyers.

"Unobtainium" Carefull, Marvel will snag that from you, and create an entire series and cast around it.

The next gen of bad superhero movies?

I could always send you some of that cheese they put on Imo's pizza, lord knows it's not fit to eat, might make excellent modelling putty. (the new green stuff "white stuff")
