Im sure demoing at stores and stuff count towards theres nothing stated saying it has to be cons.

MI's still running? I'll have to see if I can sign up! ;)

Hi... As my signature shows I was just promoted to the MI overseeing the USA, and I can tell you now Matt wants more troopers out there (in every country) spreading the gospel and such.

That said, let me drop some info for everyone thinking of joining the program.

The biggest thing is that the entire program is undergoing an overhaul to help revitalize it. Many of the changes are more tweaks to fine tune things especially in the area of improving rewards and such. (the 'three event per six months' requirement is one that is tweaked').

The program is not limited to just conventions, which are nice, but they typically don't develop a long term following the way events regularly held in a store is more likely to. The current requirement to run three events in a six month period (first-half or second-half of the year) is just events, nothing says they have to be events at cons.

I would encourage anyone who is passionate about the games from Mongoose to sign up.

I'd like to recommend the Hammerhead wargames show, at Kelham (near Newark). It's one that I go to every year and it keeps getting better and better. There's always a number of manufacturers there and I think Mongoose's miniatures ranges would go over well.

I am afraid it was a last minute thing - I think it was Friday before we knew we were attending!
