Gloranthan Species Books useful to a non-Gloranthan game?
Just curious if books like the Dragonnewst, Trolls, Elves and forthcoming Ducks books are too Glorantha-specific to be worth the time of a decidedly non-Gloranthan Runequester. I use all of these races in my own campaign in one form or another, and have developed my own histories, locales and features to integrate them in to the storyline of my homebrew setting, but if these particular books had enough juicy yet still "generic" info (i.e. stuff on lifestyle, biology, ecology, etc.) that wasn't setting specific, I was thinking they'd be worth a look-see. Anyway, if anyone who owns these books can tell me what they think, I'd certainly appreciate it. I'm always looking for an excuse to buy more books...

Elfs has 20 new Divine Spells, 1 new Runespell, several types of elves and a few new elementals.
Dragonewts has a whole new set of magic (Dragon Magic), a lot of cultural stuff and a new type of Questing (FutureQuests) which should go down well in any campaign.
Trolls has a few cults with a few new spells (new to Mongoose RQ, that is).
They all have lots of background and stats, but Players Guide to Glorantha is probably more useful as a guide to inhuman races and it has more of them with more useful material.
So, for your purpose I'd recommend Players Guide to Glorantha, then Dragonewts, then Elfs, then Trolls (even though Trolls is marginally better than Elfs in this case Elfs probably has more useful information).
