I've got my email client open and am eagerly awaiting the new releases list from my distributor... it's not here yet.

The Bear is not wrong - it is a toss up as to which is the best Mongoose product to date. A Call to Arms or Paranoia XP (they both arrived at the office today. . . ).

Thursdays is games night, and we took a break from the Snow Witch campaign to play a little Call to Arms (Starship Troopers was going strong on other tables, but I digress). The Earth Alliance soundly proved that stealth was not a total shield for the Minbari (I was _way_ too arrogant with my Sharlin!), and a Sagittarius got a supremely lucky shot on a Tigara that was hounding it across the table. Must do better. . .

On yet another table, the Narn were once again getting trounced by the Centauri.

Still, all good fun, and we decided to begin a full-blown campaign of A Call to Arms (rules for this are provided in the box set) next week, on Wednesday. I feel the call of the ISA, and will be spending the weekend painting up enough White Stars to black out the sun!

Damn that sounds like fun. Can't wait to play a campaign. And am dying to see the finished game. Still can't decide between Earthforce or the Mimbari as my primary fleet, I'll have models for both after I buy the Earth Alliance boxed set from you guys (I scored on a whole Mimbari full-scale fleet really cheap a while back). Your above post makes me want to play even more. Yeah, I think Earth ships can be "lucky".

DAMN YOU MSPRANGE! WHY MUST YOU TAUNT ME?! :D :D

I'm not sure about Earth ships being lucky but they are certainly tough! :D

Take the Warlock for instance - I dropped 4 jump points on top of it (BIG ouch!!), hit it with multiple Whitestars, then the combined firepower of a Sharlin and G'Quan..........and it was was still there! :shock: :shock: Not only that but it was handing out some serious pain as well!

Next time I want to have one! :P
