I might have posted something like this a year ago, but would it be possible for Mongoose to release a Sci Fi miniatures game along the lines of SST but their own? It was a solid rules system and had great potential. AT 43 is gone, SST is gone, and I think there is surely a place in the market for a 28mm sci fi skirmish military game.

I do recall there were mentions of other games and such in the pipeline, and secretly titled projects, but I am not on here often: have they fallen by the wayside? I mean, it is good to see Judge Dredd back, and I can accept SST is gone, but perhaps something similar but different?

Personally, I would like to see a similar approach to warmachine like a rulebook with 3 - 4 factions in it with the rules, and done by expansions, but a game more like SST was size and game play wise.

Might well be happening early next year. Will keep you posted...

Mongoose Accolades

Love to see Mongoose back in the 28 mm market - Starhsip Troopers is still one of my favourite systems. Indeed, the backbone of the system was strong enough to survive in different iterations, and formed the basis of the recent Dust Warefare rules.
