Can I ask for some recommendations? I'm looking to start my group off with Traveller. Most of us have played it in the past but i'd like to try the game out again, now we're all (much) older. Can any of you folks recommend a good, if not great, starter adventure to get the ball rolling. Bear in mind we have not even created characters yet, just looking for some ideas.

Aramis: The Traveller Adventure is certainly a good start. I would also (from personal experience!) recommend Project Steel.

If you fancy a one-shot rather than a start of a campaign, I would also point you towards the title adventure in Crowded Hours - a great demonstration of what Traveller can do without needing lots of big guns and violent aliens!

In fact, I would suggest you try all three - you will get a real demonstration of the different things Traveller can do. Then you and your players should be all set starting the (free to download) Pirates of Drinax campaign.

Matt

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check them out. Looking forward to giving the game a go.

The Living Traveller adventures Dust Spice and Dew Claws and Spinward Fender Bender (if you can find them) are good, too - not least because they don't require the players to have a ship to take part, so they're good intro games.
