I'm not a fan of "ship-deck" style floor-plans (rather than the stacked "tower-block") style... but looks good.

Guess I'll add my "I Likes It!" here too for a more public kudo. Looking sharp :)

A side question occurs to me now, have you stuck with the vectored thrust engines of the inspiration? That would be more in keeping with 2300 tech wouldn't it? Not to mention being kewl :) (but kewl with a purpose). Just curious, I kinda lost track of the thread and build so I might have missed an obvious answer.

EDIT: Ah, never mind, there it is in plain sight in the design writeup, "VTOL"... kewl :)

Superb. Going to have to see if I can cadge a class off you in this stuff at some point.

I still need to have a try at doing the Icebox-class and the Type Arrr.
Understand that I'm not advocating violence.
I'm just saying that it's highly effective and I strongly recommend using it.

Even better!

(Like the VTOL - though does look a wee bit smallish...)

I was wondering how you were going to visual the VTOL :)

I agree, seems a bit small, and badly (or entirely un-) balanced. Unless... are those dark areas (4 of them) on the lower deck additional ducted fan outlets?

EDIT: Ah, no, probably landing pylons... still, they could do double duty ;)

Port(s) forward/center would help 'balance' things...

Seeing it in 3D would probably help

Like it, though those forward bit are the solar panel array folder or something... I'm just routing the vtol engines to the lower deck.. this is fun!

I like it... although I'm not a fan of the "glowing line" render. I feel it detracts from your designs, which otherwise I like tremendously.
