Re: Deepnight Revelation
Astute observers may have already notices, but Travellermap now has some waypoints fo the DNR mission marked.
Just to give you some idea how far it is....

Re: Deepnight Revelation
That is indeed wayyyyyy out there, on the next spiral arm, as expected, I suppose.

Re: Deepnight Revelation
Indeed, Voidshore is the proper name. However, I'm curious how far out the campaign will take the Travellers? The claim "further" than any Traveller ever went (somewhere in this thread) is bold, considering the 6,000 pc the Zhodani went so far towards the core.

Re: Deepnight Revelation
I'm not in a positon to properly answer that one, but the distance claim is correct. Deepnight Revelation will take your Travellers further than anyone ought to go.
Re: Deepnight Revelation
I maybe question furthest, at least until we establish the location of grandpa pocket universe in secret of the ancients, assuming such a concept has meaning.

We assumed distances to pocket universes could not be measured

Re: Deepnight Revelation
I couldn't help wondering why Deepnight Revelation didn't go down the other side of the Great Rift to start with instead of crossing thousands of light years away

I can't wait to have NPC character who took the mission to get away from his wife. ... Only for her to be able to find him before Terminus point.

If you filled a free trader with fuel, you could get five parsecs worth. (SpaceUber, follow that criuser! Ok madam, but this is going to cost extra...)
Better tell Deepknight Revelation crew to keep watch behind them. A jump-capable scout moving a couple of jumps ahead, and another behind, might be desirable.

1) Which book is that from?
2) Links are impossible to see in this forum. I didn't even realise it was a link until the pointer changed as i moved it.

Re: Deepnight Revelation
That is from the upcoming set of books, Deepnight Revelation. Perhaps you’ve heard of it?
Seriously, Matt Sprange posted that image on the kickstarter page for the project. I like it, other than the oversized bridge. That space could have been better used elsewhere.

Sorry about the visibility, I hoped italics would help but in hindsight perhaps I should have made it more obvious, like this:Moppy wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 11:54 am1) Which book is that from?
