Deepnight Revelation
Re: Deepnight Revelation
A while back, you intimated that eventually, Mongoose would take us into the 5th Frontier War
as a path for the adventure books. Are we still on that path or will Deepnight take us onto a different direction into terms
of long term adventure support and timeline? Just curious...

Re: Deepnight Revelation
Deepnight Revelation is its own thing, with long running support planned.
The Fifth Frontier War we will unveil proper plans for in the State of the Mongoose this year but, in a nutshell, it will form its own sub-line within Traveller to a greater degree than, well, anything we have done before.

Re: Deepnight Revelation
Ouch, that sounds *a bit* terrifying, and I’m starting to wonder if it’s really such a good idea to send a bunch of travellers there to poke around and awaken some form of civilization-threatening primordial evil...

Seriously, I get more and more pepped for this project the more I hear about it! Luckily* it should soon be upon us

*perhaps not so lucky, if we end up wiping out all sentient life across known space...

Even guinea pigs, which is sad. The Travellers must succeed.

Yes. The Deepnight Revelation expedition was largely funded by the Imperial Guinea Pig Appreciation Society.

Re: Deepnight Revelation
Even the guinea pigs?! Noo!! We have to send a ragtag band of psychotic murderhobos ahem I mean of course a courageous collection of heroic travellers to save everyone and everything! Shoutout to IGPAS for sponsoring the endeavor!
You need to implement them in the campaign somehow, if even as a discrete guinea pig logo hidden somewhere on the ship, visible only on a single picture throughout the books...

Haha that’s the best way to disguise an assassin bot! Make it cute, furry and cuddly - and filled with explosives or toxins
Cruel, but effective. Like in that movie, what was it called... Screamers, perhaps?

Re: Deepnight Revelation
There are four books. A campaign sourcebook and a referee's handbook, a 32 page adventure at the start and a 64 page one at the end.
Multiple expansion madness volumes are also planned. When I say planned I mean developed in some detail already so we'd better get them funded or the kickstarter madness may spread to me. Oh, wait....
