1st Edtion books on DriveThru

Postby Tay » Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:34 pm

I noticed whilst scanning DriveThru today that a lot (21) of the Traveller 1st Books are now available from their POD Service. Is this something new. Not noticed them before. Also, are there plans then to add the remaining 1st edtion books?

Cheers

Ooooh, not 21 (a few titles were PODs already), but great news nevertheless :D , I'm definitely getting a couple of the new PODs before Brexit.

I recommend getting the Alien Module books if they are POD for sure. Then the green-titled books.

I'd be interested to know from Mongoose how different the POD's are to the original Physical books. If they are almost identical, I may well purchase the one or 2 that I am missing from my collection.

They would be almost identical. But the POD books from DriveThru use lighter ink. So the black ink text is not black, but dark gray. The book cover art is not as bright as the original book covers were.

I actually bought them all before finding out there was a 2nd edition.

I'm a bit miffed over that. Poor form DriveThru.

I still use all of the 1st edition books with 2nd edition.
