Call me penny-pincher if you want :) , but this means my planned order for Behind the Claw gets delayed 2-3 weeks until the release of the Drinaxian Companion, saving £8.00 of Shipping & Handling in the process.

Once we know what is happening with Brexit (ha!), we will take another look at doing free shipping worldwide...

We are currently having issues uploading the PDF version of the book! We are working on this right now and expect to have it sorted very soon. If, however, you are just after the PDF and not print version, it is up on Drivethru right now:

Let the proofreading commence!

Seriously, this is re-stoking my passion for Traveller. I really do need to get some work done between now and year end, and this will make it that much harder.

I love maps and blueprints (of all kinds) and have a wall of them. Will you be selling a larger version of the poster map?

If anyone kickstarted a wall sized beowulf deckplan, I'd be up for it.

The files are certainly big enough. Giving my ipad pro a workout.

it kind of annoys me that formattting for mobile devices isn't solved yet.

PDFs are huge and can't be reformatted. Formats like mobi allow reflowing of text but can't really do artwork and diagrams well.

I spent a whole weekend trying to think of a way to fix it and failed. That doesn't mean much because I'm not very smart, but it seems like big tech can't fix it either.

In the end I decided to forget about it as the next generation of devices will probably make the problem go away via superior hardware, quicker than we can design a new format and convert all the books.

I'm hopeful they didn't use the MGT2 trade code table to generate the system trade codes. The change for NI world creates a whole lot of low and no population NI worlds.

I mostly read on my phone these days, and I’ve noticed that the builtin iBooks app gets worse with each iOS update... books that o could read without trouble before are much slower to load now. Same device, same file, just new version of iOS and reading app.. :/

this one is on Apple. Newer versions of iOS do not work well on older phones. This is their “subtle” hint to upgrade. There are several class action lawsuits over it, which you can join if you want. The lawsuits claim intentional throttling and intentional disabling of features arising from leaked Apple engineer emails.

(feeding the off-topic)

Didn't they "fix" this? Or was it only in Europe? On mine, there is a battery setting, which allows to unthrotle the phone while knowing the battery life is already impaired. Can result in phone suddenly shutting down as it can't use the required voltage (I may speak bs, but I suck at electronics).

There are still ongoing lawsuits and Facetime is still broken on older versions of iOS.

I don't see a proofreading thread yet, soo...

On page 199, the SYDKAI-CLASS DETACHED FRIGATE is listed as having both Reflec and Stealth. My hard copy of High Guard says on page 13 that these 2 options cannot be combined.

Stealth ship sneaks up on you, armor sparkling as it reflects the star light ... what is that bright space disco ball, you ask?

Noticed a few typos so far - “sport-laden clouds”?

Maybe it’s time to start an errata thread?

I sent a... rather lengthy... errata to Matthew via email, which was what he suggested when I queried him about it. I'll let him weigh in on whether I should post it here. I'm not sure if such a giant dump of commentary will help or hinder others in finding issues.

I will say that overall, it's an excellent product. Lots of very nice artwork and tons (dtons?) of material. I highly recommend its purchase.
