Ideas for A Tech-World Fleet

A Friend has mentioned that in her campaign the group she's part of got The Class-B Starport at Wildeman before doing Demons Eye, have agreed to build Ships for Tech-World if they pay and she wants ideas for A Tech-World Fleet of 4 to 6 ships of up to 700 tons each. Can you help?

Are you asking for up to 700 ton designs? Just take them from the book. Unless they want non-standard designs, then you'd have to determine what their purpose is.

Do you want a fleet of yachts? flying spa's? Raiders? Q-ships??

Why don't you take a look at some of the published designs, even ones from outside the Drinax setting? Gypsy Knight games has a plethora of smaller craft that would work, as does Jon Brazer and others (those are the two that came to mind off top of my head). It's easy to convert them, if necessary.

In my campaign, the standard Tech-World warship (which they only recently started producing after Inurin started acting up) is 500dton, jump-2, thrust-4, with twin particle bay weapons, nuclear dampers, two triple beam laser turrets for point defense and 12 points of superdense armor. Maxed out sensors, too.
