Matt,

When do you plan on starting the dead-tree version of the book? Is there going to be some time between pdf and print so that errors and such can be caught?

Yes, the printed edition will be sent off in January, so we have 2-3 weeks to catch any issues. Printing will likely take 3-ish months after that.

That's good news. One other question - will the Companion be included in the bricks & mortar program?

Do you know if the preorders will be mailed before Hard Brexit Day (29 March)?

Probably not - however, we are not expecting too many issues to our own operations with regards to shipping (so long as truck tailbacks do not occur, but we still don't really know what is happening yet...)

Not sure where to put it, but the Misjumps table on page 143 has a 1D roll listed but it should be 2D.

Bought it this morning. Got to browse at work and I'm loving it! Suddenly answers to a lot of topics on the forums.

The book, so far, is pretty good. I think it's definitely better the ones from 1st ED.

There are some minor discrepancies (will compile a list), but the consistency is solid. No "critical" errors this far. There are some areas which could use a little better formatting, to increase comprehension.

It's jam-packed with little rules and goodies. Also, so far, I don't see a "power creep" that some games introduce with "expansion books".

Is there a page missing in the PDF?

The "General-Purpose Mass Driver" section on page 165 ends mid-sentence, and there's no discussion of the "Torpedo-Interceptor Cluster" that I can find.

Yes, I spotted that too. Seems a page or a few paragraphs are missing (or perhaps even a piece of ART!)

edit: removed a piece that I read wrong.

Some pieces not clear to me on Page 161

1): PD with dogfighting missiles doesn't mention they have to make a successful attack roll. So, do they auto hit, or do we need to make the attack roll similar to the interceptor missile? I assume they have to hit as well, and they have only 50% of working since they are cheaper, and you can pack more in the same space.

2): The escort section text has this sentence after the Large craft turret explanation: "Hits destroy missiles and torpedoes as above... " However, it's not entirely clear to me, what is "as above". I assume missiles have the same chances of hitting as mentioned, but turrets chances are not mentioned. I assume turrets always drop a missile/torpedo on a hit (since regular core PD does that, even more effectively).

In the Believer career (p. 36-37), Rank 5 and 6 (and the SOC bonus) are the same for two different assignments (Mainstream Believer and Missionary/Humanitarian). Is this intentional? Not a fan of seeing "Bishop" and "Archbishop" in the Missionary/Humanitarian assignment, I would like to see something different...
