I've got permission to post full details of The 1/Solo Player and A GM's Pirates of Drinax Campaign that's running down and will stop for 14+ months and maybe forever within 12 days and all cos The Players Mum has a illness that won't kill her but will put the campaign on hold for at least 1 year likely more, which is true but as A Very Old and years ago very close friend of the family I hope that estimated illness length is its maximum time, not its minimum time. Do you want me to post it? when I can find the time and remember that this is A Campaign with A GM whose got ideas weirder sometimes then mine and from A Player who will lie in her own campaign write ups, even those to her really good friends, if she thinks it'll make better reading or make her or her character look better or both, so it may not be accurate or even entirely true or maybe even mostly lies added to make a good story. As well as which to save time in it I'll not change her I to she, her we to they and so on

If they would like it posted. It's often interesting to read other players' versions of the same sandbox campaign.
Understand that I'm not advocating violence.
I'm just saying that it's highly effective and I strongly recommend using it.

Okay I'll see about getting round to it later. But I'm posting it exactly as he wrote it and emailed it to me. As well as which he is a known and notorious but not proven cheater who gets away with it via his so-called super-human level of dice related luck that is normally good enough to give most that don't know his rep enough doubt to choose to side with him over the truth-tellers. Plus The GM he's playing with was a cheat himself when A Player and its possible that he's cheating to benefit the player for some way, either that or he doesn't know the truth and/or refuses to believe it and I'm not going to risk losing friends as good as those 2 to reveal something that I know is a 100% definite fact but can't prove enough for The GM to side with me over the player

Just for A Teaser here's character generation

Starter Skills Carouse, Diplomat, Medic and Social Sciences, somehow forgot the 5th Skill for Edu 12. Stats Str and End both 8-1 or 7, Edu and SS both 11+1 or 12, Int 9 and Dex 8
Terms

He served for 7 Terms and the rank he reached was Rank 6

Term 1

For Services skills he got Art -Dancing /0 or +1 and Piano Playing /0 or +1, Deception /0 or +1 and Persuade /0 or +2 as Service Skills

He Survived, he got promoted, using unofficial rules we are using I roll A 5 and A 3 and choose Diplomat /1 or +3 from Service Skills for The 5 and Carouse /1 or +2 from Service Skills for The 3 and get Art -Dancing /1 or +2 for acquiring Rank 1 and the Event roll is A 23, I roll 2D6+2 and get A Natural 12, so I gain A Duke of Drinax as A Ally and A Stipend, the roll for that is A 10+2 or 12, so I get A Stipend worth Cr 5,000,000 that nets me Cr 37,500 per month

Term 2

He survived, he got promoted, using the unofficial rules we are using I roll 2 5’s and choose Diplomat /2 or +4 from Specialist -Critic for 1 of The 5’s and Science -Archeology /1 or +2 from Advanced Education or The 2nd 5 and get +1 Int for acquiring Rank 2 and the Event Roll is A 13, that nets me +1 Social Scale, but The 2D6-2 Investigate Roll is A 7-2 or 5, so I fail to get it overturned

Term 3

He survived, he got promoted, using unofficial rules we are using I roll 3 and A 4 and choose +1 Social Scale from Personnel Development for The 4 and Computers /1 or +3 from Advanced Education as The 3 and for The Event I roll A 21 and to avoid trouble I choose to stop

Term 4

He survived, he got and promoted, using unofficial rules we are using I roll A 4 and A 1 and choose +1 Social Scale from Personnel Development and Advocate /1 or +4 from Specialist -Critic and net Persuade /1 or +2 for acquiring Rank 4 and the event roll is A 61, I roll 2D6+2 and get 11, so I increase Diplomat to /3 or +6

Term 5

He survived, he got promoted, using unofficial rules we are using I roll A 5 and A 1 and choose Advocate /2 or +5 from Advanced Education and Diplomat /4 or +7 for The 5 and the Event Roll is A 43, which nets me Cr 80,000

Term 6

He survived, he got promoted, using the unofficial rules we are using I roll A 5 and A 2 and choose Science -Archeology /1 or +2 from Advanced Education for The 5 and Art -Dancing /2 or +2 from Service Skills for The 5 and also net +1 Social Scale that only applies to Drinaxian Nobles for reaching Rank 6 and the Event is A 45, I go for Flight Class Navy pass The Qualification Roll and net Pilot -Spacecraft /1 or +2

Term 7

He survived, he can’t promote, but has to roll to see if he has to leave after this term, he rolled A 5 and that means that he has to leave after this term

Also using unofficial rules we are using I roll A 6 and A 1 and choose +1 Dex and Jack of All Trades /1 or reducing Unskilled Penalty from -3 to -2, both from Personal Development and the Event is A 63, which doubles the value of the 1st Portfolio Item I roll for or from Cr 50 million to Cr 100 million, but I sell off the extra Cr 50 million to pay off my debt and keep Cr 25.7 million profit, great, right guys

His 3 Portfolio rolls are 1 Cr 100,000,000 Hunting Estate that nets him Cr 500,000 per month that I sold half of, which leaves A Cr 50,000,000 Hunting Estate that nets him Cr 250,000 per month, 1 business that sells exotic pets to the children of Nobles worth Cr 25,000,000 that nets him Cr 187,500 and 1 Industrial Complex worth Cr 5,000,000 that nets him Cr 25,000 per month and that’s a total of Cr 130,000,000 that nets him Cr 712,500 per month, minus Cr 50,000,000 Hunting Estate that nets him Cr 250,000 per month and that leaves or Cr 80,000,000 that nets him Cr 462,500 per month

Bad news The GM and player have withdrawn their permission to post their campaigns details here for fear of spoiling it for those who haven't played it yet and took quite a bit of convincing to let me post how Drinax is at the point where they've stopped for at least 14 months while the player looks after his very ill but not fatally ill mother. All of which took around 38.52 in-game years and around 2.46 real-life years to build and is a hybrid of both 1st and 2nd edition
