First Man, Let's do Neil Armstrong as a Traveller character

I got an idea, let's do Mongoose Traveller characters of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins for the 50th anniversary of the Apollo moon landings.

Maybe write an adventure for those characters when the find a spaceship (Imperial Scout/Courier) on the Sea of Tranquility, a sort of alternate history if you will.

I don't know enough about their respective backgrounds to write up a detailed Travellerization, but having read "The Right Stuff," I know that most of the Apollo astronauts were fighter pilots in the Korean War who had been test pilots afterward. Based on that book, all of them had Flyer (Wing)-3 or higher, a DEX score of 12 or higher, and based on their almost universal love of muscle cars, Drive (Wheeled)-2 or higher.
"Spacers lead a sedentary life. They live at home, and their home is always with them—their starship, and so is their country—the depths of space."

There is a movie coming out on October 12, called First Man, it's based on a biography of Neil Armstrong of the same name, he was an aeronautical engineer, a Navy fighter pilot who fought in the Korean War, and he also flew the X-15 to the edge of space, he lost a child to brain cancer, he was on the Gemini VIII mission where a mishap caused his capsule to spin out of control, when he regained control he had to abort the mission. To make it more interesting, a Solomani scientist send an Imperial scout/courier back in time to a place where he knew the Apollo 11 mission was going to land, in the vessel's cargo hold are files full of microfilm spools designed to be read by 1969 era microfilm readers, and an envelope addressed to President Nixon. Thats the setup.
