I was wondering something about possible Player Popularity during a campaign and wanted to know your opinion
If A Pc who would never betray Drinax's Royal Family unless the fate of The Human Race depended on it yet was popular enough with the peoples of Drinax, Asim and The Floating Palace to lead a rebellion that with the right leaders would be guaranteed to win based on sheer numbers if not something more subtle and/or strategic could Oleb really trust him/her
Would Oleb really trust them?

Re: Would Oleb really trust them?
Most likely, Oleb doesn't see that popular PC as a threat, but as a future son-in-law.

This. "If you can't beat them, get them to join us." The excuse of marriage as a quest reward would mostly just be an excuse (though also incentive to rebuild the kingdom) in this case.Pyromancer wrote: ↑Thu Sep 27, 2018 7:49 amMost likely, Oleb doesn't see that popular PC as a threat, but as a future son-in-law.
