This book, and the book Replay are similar in that they are time travel books without the TARDIS. The main character lives his life, dies, and is reborn back when he was born the first time. So Harry August lives between 1919 until he dies, then is reborn back in the 1919 of his youth.
There are many of these people all living their lives over and over again. They pass messages back and forth through time, from child to adult.
I was thinking of something like this for a Traveller adventure. A Patron with knowledge of the future could be altering their lives by hiring players to do certain things for them. Tech advancement is a favorite theme in the book.
Players could be repeaters and trying different careers each life to try and improve themselves.
Has anyone done something like this in their campaign?
