Animal Encounter: Gratheudom?

Postby paltrysum » Mon Mar 12, 2018 6:55 pm

Back in 1983, Grenadier released 25mm miniatures of several Traveller animals. One of the animals is called a gratheudom. It sort of looks like a cross between an ankylosaurus and a crocodile. Anyone remember where this particular animal comes from? I haven't been able to find it in old Traveller pubs.

It's the second animal from the left in this image:

The minis came with rules/scenarios for Traveller. Maybe someone has a booklet still.

I found a PDF online. Seems they are from (or at least on) Aramat.

Ah-ha! So essentially they're non-canonical (well, a quick travellermap search shows them as "apocryphal"). Thanks, guys. I'd forgotten about the supplement. Lost mine long ago.
