Drivethru PDF

Postby Tupper » Mon Feb 12, 2018 1:47 am

Looking at the pdf in my DrivethruRPG library, I'm not sure it's the latest version. Notably, the damage for the autocannon listed in the vehicle section seems to be too low (1D) and the starships are missing their hull points. Neither of these problems seem to be present in my hardcopy of the book.

There are two copies "Traveller_Core_Ebook.pdf" and "Traveller_Core_Rulebook_erratajun2016_Ebook.pdf", both of which seem to have the same problems, which makes me suspect that something went awry in updating the files on DrivethruRPG.

The black and white, print friendly version of the book seems to be up to date (at least as regards the two issues above)?

Is there any chance of someone at Mongoose updating the PDF? :D

PS. The print friendly book is a great idea, particularly for printing out some of the character generation tables to speed up play. Is there any chance of seeing something similar for the Aslan material in Pirates of Drinax?

We will look into both (the print friendly thing may take a while, as they require a lot of work...)!

Thanks a lot for fixing that, Matt. I've downloaded the new pdf, and it looks good!

Hello,

will there be an errata file being made available as a downloadable PDF document in the download-section of Mongoose‘s website? I own the first printing of the Core Rulebook, but not as an electronic document from drivethrurpg; thus I don‘t have a good opportunity to look out for changes and especially ‚corrections‘. Also I kinda dislike the idea or challenge to simply buy the drivethrurpg-PDF of the Core Rulebook just in order to get the information that there have been some changes or corrections which in the end would allow me to download the revised document. :? In short: I am a hardcopy-rpg-nerd (thus a half-a-nerd) and don‘t look into using PDF documents...

Best wishes!

We will look into it, but there really isn't a great deal changed (I have a feeling you can count the changes on one hand, and none have any real impact on gameplay). Just a tidy up, really, you are not going to be missing anything!
