Traveller Clement Sector Uplift Question

Has anyone created an Uplifted character with any rendition of Traveller rules?

In the process of creating an Uplifted Gorilla character getting a serious Overwatch vibe from it so far! :D

How did it work out for you?

Okay can someone check if I dealt with this properly?

Origin Sector/Homeworld: Earth/ Luna
Race: Uplifted Gorilla
Starting UPP: C6CA75
Primary Language: Albanian
Background Skills: Vacc Suit 0
Youth Events
Age 6 & 11: An accomplished art Prodigy develops Arts/ Sculpting at 2 and +2 to Social Standing as a result
Teenage Events:
Age 13: becomes deeply religious ironic as he is an Atheist but is fond of analysing the beliefs of others!
Age 16: His lifelong mentor persuades him to leave his childhood home behind him enrolling in a college.

Tour 1: Undergraduate College succeeds in gaining admission and graduates with honours, but is unable to continue his planned academic career being diverted into military training where his academic excellence earns his automatic commission over the objections of others who can't see beyond his simian birth.
Skills: Physical Science/Chemistry 3, Life Sciences/ Genetics 1, Social Sciences/Philosophy 1, Education increased to B as a result of graduation and High Honours.

Tour 2: Combat Rifleman in the UN Marines survives and earns promotion
Event: Former mentor dies amidst rumours that his Gorilla pet shouldn't have been given its commission
Tour 3: Assigned to assist security at a space station it's his first trip into the Clement Sector and after the Octagon collapses the realisation he won't be going home any time soon begins to sink in.
Event: develops friendship with the first of the other PCs during this tour.
Tour 4: Reassigned for Commando training earning his promotion to Major as his unit is dissolved because the UN can no longer cover the Clement Sector as the Hub Federation begins to assume responsibility for the former UN's duties.
Event: Musters out as his surviving unit is absorbed into a mercenary outfit that doesn't recognise his uplifted status.

Tour 5: Colonist/Commercial
Establishes himself as a sculptor working on commission's it's a long lengthy process forcing him to travel quite a bit often on foot but it's slowly working.
Event: develops Athletics/Endurance 1 as a result
Skills: Electronics/Sensors 1, Profession/Artist 1

Still working on the rest, what do you think?

Any obvious errors?

If you are using the Clement Sector setting as written, there would be no UN Marines. He would be serving with one of the nation-states.

However, if you're altering the setting for a homebrew, I see no errors in what you've done. I rather like it and I'm happy to see such a detailed character.
