Tramp Trader - the Gypsy Rover

Postby BrianSmaller » Tue Jun 09, 2015 7:46 pm

This is a one off unique starship. A family run tramp trader built from parts. I have not done the stats using Mongoose Traveller as I am only just starting to figure my way around them. I have generated the crew using MgT character creation and some tweaking.

Hope you like it anyway :D

Two of the stubby GURPS Cutters in a catamaran arrangement? Okay.

I like this ship, neat design idea. Traveller could do with some more unusual ships. The write up of the crew is a nice touch as well.

Hmm we have a couple of busted 50 ton cutters..and a surplus drive module...Lets build us a starship.....I would hate to see the "Improvised engineering" that net into making that work.

Great idea for a one off starship though. I like this sort of idea. I can think of a dozen ways to work this little ship into a scenario.

Actually It does remind me of the Salvage one, a rocket built in a junkyard which was featured in an old short lived sci-fi show way back when.

Thanks - I was going for the 'that's odd' feel. I figure that there must be millions of old hulls and drives out there - got to be something for all those Junker characters to salvage and refurbish.
