I thought it was obvious.

It's a Cat Carrier.

QLI had a complete (and licenced by MWM) book on the Solomanie Navy. They had the "whole set" including Dreadnaughts but a slightly different philosophy when it came to the speed/gun/armor balance and main weapons (prefering Pb over Meson, Beams over Missiles). It's out again on DVD from FFE (together with the Imperial Navy counterpart). No deck plans but quite a few interesting designs/concepts and nice fluff. All set a century earlier (SolRim War) than the 1105 setting.

Also aesthetics, which seemed a touch Empirish.

Compared to the current aquatic theme.

Traveller20, it's TA-7 (Imperial) and TA-9 (Sollies). The vehicle catalog (TA-0) might also be intersting, nice ideas and pictures. Not sure if they are also available single on DriveThru.

From the Mega/TNE/DC/2300AD/Challenge DVDs I own the scan quality is good, no DRM, useable table of content. Since at least part of the T20 stuff came out as PDFs originally I guess the quality of them is even better.

I can NOT say how CPU consuming the rendering/scrolling of the PDF is on a iThingy or Fragmentdroid with an ARM since I use a Win8/x86 tablet pc to view them and a core i5 does not even switch on the second CPU core for the job.
