The Swordfish was probably the only one to outlive its intended successor. The Albacore was withdrawn from active service in 1943, the Swordfish stayed on until 1945.
The Fulmar had no official aft armament, so the navigator sometimes brought something unofficial. I want to see rules for toilet paper, which was sometimes thrown out of the back.
The Skua had a few other battle honours. For one thing, it was credited with the first confirmed kill by a British aircraft in WW2. And Lt. Cdr William Lucy, who led the attack on the Königsberg mentioned on Planet Mongoose, subsequently became a fighter ace in the Skua. Not bad for a dive-bomber.

here. Basically three Skuas tried to attack a U-boat which had been attacking a merchant, SS Fanad Head, and two of them ended up destroying themselves.
