The title says it all. I want to play VAS!!!! Why because I love this game. I have this busted leg that I can't put any weight on. So I cant get to my minis, cant stand at the table cant go to the game store. When I get better my chore list (honey do list)is so far behind that I still wont be able to game. but when I do get to play I think I will do a mega Pacific battle.
Any suggetsions on which battle? does any one have any really good scenarios worked out. Im looking for lots of Carriers and Battleships big time. I want the sky to be dark with planes. I want DDs so thick there getting in the way and just one sub. Side note pizza, beer, and good cigar with lots of good friends. So who else is looking forward to you next game of VAS.

Going to make it to Recon at the end of April right? I have an Italian fleet ready to give the British Royal Navy the pounding it deserves.

I still have to book my hotel room... and I used to not be such a procrastinator in my younger days.

That's miserable, how did you bust your leg? Bet it itches under the cast, a new use for ship mini's?

The Doctor did it. My one leg bone was longer than the other causing my foot to be off, causing me to be wearing a brace for years. this fixes the issue so I will be able to walk without the pain. right now im in a boot brace and not allowed to put any weight on it. so i sit with it proped up most of the day.

Bummer, I like to get in at least one game a month. Between work and other activities thats usually all I have time for. But, yeah....disability is extremely boring, since you really can't do anything!!!!!

Maybe get caught up on some painting?

Yeah painted up a bunch of elves for LOTRs thinking about finishing my fleets for acta NA.
Dummy me I have four fleets. I decided not to do the Li Halan. but I do have the fleet box for the Li Halan up for sale or trade if anyone is interested.

I hear ya!

I recently moved and have joined a new game group. I am hesitant to start teaching VaS using the old rules, with the new ones on the horizon. I was pondering waiting and starting fresh with the new rules when they come out.

Play the old rules I still do. Look at this way simpler and more generic. New rules more acuracy of weapons and torps a little more detailed. but basicly the same die system so no big changes there. both versions will be great games. If you need ship sheets let me know I have tons of them for the different fleets and an exstenive plane stat sheet. also a good cheat sheet.
