I can't get the search feature to work at all, so I was wondering: Aside from the initial thread, was there any more discussion of this unofficial supplement? It seems incredibly well done and the initial thread was informative, but one can never have too much information. :)

Thanks!

And also, I notice that VotR is quite different from Iron Thunder, found in S&P.

Anyone have experience with both of these sets, and formed any opinions about their relative merits? (Aside from the authors of course, who are likely going to prefer their own approaches. :D)

From David Manley's Website:

Quote:
Victory on the Rivers

VAS for Ironclads, set initially in the American Civil War but recent updates have added European ships so that you can fight out the Lissa campaign and the Franco Prussian War

FYI the "Iron Thunder" fleet lists can be found in S&P issue #54, p. 22-27 http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/signsnportentsarchive
(and kudos to Mongoose for keeping this list of back issues available to us all, thank you).
