also, in the lists above, I'm not sure that White Ensign stock 1/3000 (I can't find anything on their website) - plenty of lovely 1/700 stuff for anyone playing "Destroyer Commander", "Bulldogs Away" or "Action Stations" though

Can I ask what the quality is like compared to skytrex or navwar?

The sites like panzerschiffe, and the others that show pics of their ships must do that much better than the blind buy sites.

Fair enough. It wasn't 100% serious, but I'll get rid of the rant part of the post anyway.

I've used them to put together a couple of pre-dread VAS fleets to have a play with. As tempting as the pictures on the panzerschiffe site are, I'm going to be studying again soon and probably shouldn't be spending on minies right now.
