Burger presents... Fleet Designer!

Postby Burger » Thu Jan 25, 2007 12:20 pm

Hi all,
I've updated my ship viewer with all the main rulebook's stats now. I have made some "cards" in a similar style to those created by others (thanks for the inspiration, remember emulation is the best flattery :) ). I've madea few changes of course, such as addition of a tick-box for One-Shot and Slow-Loading weapons, for keeping track.

Also added is "Fleet Designer". This is for making an entire fleet's worth of cards. You start with an empty fleet, and can add ships to build up your fleet, including ship name and Command level. When you're happy with it, press "Generate" and it'll pop up a window with all your ships sheets, along with accompanying fighters, ready to print.

Here is an example of the cards:

You can find the link here or as always, in my signature.

Please let me know about any errors or typos I may have made!

Why does Warspite have 15" guns? The Queen Elizabeth class mounted 12" guns... :?

Please stick to corrections between my stats and the game's in this thread, if you want to debate the correspondance of the game's stats to real-life figures then make your own thread ;)

Very nice Burger. I see you've left a slot open for Armageddon level. Actually we were going to call it Assault (between Battle and War) level...

Nice effort!

You plan to add the additional content from S&P ( i.e. Russian fleet,
Plan-Z, etc. ) ?

That's bizarre. I'm sure the VaS preview had 12" on the QEs. Was that a typo, then?

Ah, copy/paste error. It's removed now, I'll put it back when/if it appears in-game.

Yes, when I get the chance :)

Oh by the way, when using Fleet Designer your fleet should be saved if you close you browser window, since it uses cookies to store the data :D

Great !

Also, need the civilian ships ( freighters, etc. ) for doing those convoy
raid scenarios !
